The team fights the machinations of a demon-controlled Chinese governmental official. The official has manufactured information that plays down his part in combat and violence against the team and throws the blame on them. He believes he is in direct line to resume the throne of China and that he will become the next ruler of the Asian nation. His demon makes it his driving purpose in life to attain the holy treasure which will propel him into his destiny. To that end he attempts to eliminate the Crossfire Team in the United States and kidnaps some of the team members. His direct supervisor has doubts about the reports and meets Jesus in the process.
